price. This is a high quality advance level
viola. The viola is made with high quality spruce for the viola top and well flamed maple for the side and
back. Sound quality of a viola is affected by both the wood used and
workmanship that went into the viola. Both the quality of the wood and
the workmanship of this viola well exceeded the value of the viola. The
viola also come with
a ebony fingerboard and a beautiful matching set of boxwood fittings: tuning pegs,
tailpiece and chinrest. The ebony fingerboard provides solid playability and intonation control.
The boxwood tuning pegs make tuning easy and trouble-free. The matching
boxwood fittings make the viola very aesthetically pleasing to play with. The bow is made out of high quality Brazilwood with horsehair providing good
sound volume and playability.
The light weight all-purpose case provides
ultimate protection to the viola. The case comes with backpack design - carrying
viola to
lesson, school or orchestra practice is made easy.

Viola side and back are made
with well flamed maple. Flamed is a term used to describe the amount of
grain (wood pattern) in maple. Using higher flamed maple to make the
side and back of the viola increases both aesthetics and value of the
viola.

Matching set of boxwood fittings: tuning pegs,
tailpiece and chinrest. The matching boxwood fittings make the viola
very aesthetically pleasing and enhances the value of the viola.

Real inlaid purfling on both the

Tuning pegs are made out of high
quality boxwood for trouble-free tuning. Boxwood is preferred over hardwood since it is more stable and less likely to slip causing
viola to go out of tune.

Fingerboard is made out of high
quality ebony for solid playability and intonation control. The hardness of ebony wood protects the fingerboard from denting by the fingernail. Dents on the fingerboard make it very difficult to play the
viola in tune.
